Accreditation (AQF 3)

Objectives

ChemCert aims to provide farm chemical users with the knowledge and skills to achieve established national industry competencies thus ensuring these products are used safely, accurately and efficiently.

Competencies Achieved

  • Level 1 - RTC1701A - Follow basic chemical safety rules
  • Level 2 - RTC2706A - Apply chemicals under supervision
  • Level 3 - RTC3705A - Transport, handle and store chemicals
  • Level 3 - RTC3704A - Prepare and apply chemicals

The course is assessed at AQF Level 3.

In NSW, the program length is two days and includes:

Accreditation is only issued on satisfactory completion of all assessment items. Each student receives a plastic Accreditation card that is individually numbered and is valid for five years.
