GrowSmart

GrowSmart Training is an industry based registered training organisation with a focus on Horticulture and Conservation and Land Management. It is based in the Riverland of South Australia and has offices at 9 William Street, Berri. While much of their training programmes are run in the Riverland, they are able to provide training in other parts of the State as well.

GrowSmart members include the Almond Board of Australia from whom they rent our offices, and the South Australian Fresh Fruit Growers Association (SAFFGA). These two organisations are represented on the Management Committee through committed and passionate members who provide direction for the training programmes provided to the horticultural industry - particularly almonds, stone fruit, wine grapes and citrus. They are also currently running programmes in Conservation and Land Management for indigenous students at Calperum Station (managed by the Australian Landscape Trust) near Renmark and the Monarto Zoo near Murray Bridge.

Much of their training is face to face and hands on.
