Manager
Mark Kunnen (B Com (Mgmt) JP) with his commercial acumen and leadership experience, combined with his sales and advocacy skills, leads ChemCert. His diverse background and management experience in the transport and tourism sectors combined with strong hands on business skills contributes to the effective and efficient operation of the organisation. Mark has held a variety of voluntary and elected positions including, the Christchurch City Council, Automobile Association New Zealand, Environment Guardianship Trustee of the Dean’s Bush and Riccarton Trust – Canterbury’s first European settlement in the South Island and Riccarton Business Association. Mark holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Management from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. Mark’s interests include small game hunting, squash and mountain biking. He also enjoys home renovations and improvement, cooking and gardening.

Dean Rutledge has worked with ChemCert since the inception. Having worked for Olivetti Computers for over ten years in various key administrative roles he brings extensive knowledge to the organisation. Dean’s highly developed administrative and organisational skills assist him to deal with all aspects of office administration within the organisation, including the management of training programmes and system databases and liaison with key industry and development organisations, trainers and clients. His experience in professional development programmes in the industry provides invaluable support for trainers and promotes quality learning and training for participants. Dean is the company’s fanatical golfer, enjoys fishing and spending time undertaking home renovations and development. |

Sean Chen (B IET, M Eng Sc) works as the IT Consultant. He holds a Bachelor of Information Engineering, a Masters of Engineering Science in Telecommunications from the University of New South Wales and is currently completing a Masters of Internetworking at the University of Technology, Sydney. His knowledge brings to the organisation highly developed technical skills, which enables him to carry out his duties, including development and maintenance of networking, reporting systems and databases. His fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese also assists our trainers in delivering specialised training courses to non-English speaking background participants. Prior to this he has several contracts establishing and maintaining computer network systems in medical practices across Sydney. Sean likes to keep fit playing soccer and badminton and enjoys outdoor adventure and socialising with friends. |

Bernadette Crouch has dedicatedly worked as the lead Course Coordinator at Graham Matthews Rural Training for ChemCert courses since 1998. Operating her own retail business, working for the Federal Government for over 7 years and drawing on her own experience as merino sheep, cattle and seed farmer in the Condobolin district has allowed Bernadette to deal efficiently with the management of courses and clients. Her experience in the farming industry allows her to relate to and understand the needs of clients, especially in the drought prone areas. She is treasurer of the Condobolin Swimming Club and a committee member of Milby Sports Club. Bernadette dedicates her time to her young family, enjoying weekends participating in the local sports of swimming, football and soccer and fishing, canoeing and motorbike riding on the local family property. |

Genene Reardon works as the Assistant Course Coordinator. Her extensive background in working in community vocational education for over twenty years and family farming experience in wheat, sheep and wool classing in the Central West of NSW assists her to provide sound knowledge and support to both staff and clients in the organisation. She holds the position of treasurer of the Community Adult Education Centre and is also a committee member of the Milby Sports Club. Genene thrives on spending time with her family and grandchildren and also enjoys reading and the challenge of cryptic word puzzles in her leisure time. |
