Overview

ChemCert Supervisors AQF 4 Accreditation is at a higher level than the national industry standard ChemCert Accreditation.

ChemCert Supervisors AQF 4 Accreditation is for those managers and supervisors who take responsibility for developing and implementing pest management programs and chemical use strategies in workplaces and who wish to attain the higher level Accreditation.

ChemCert Supervisors AQF 4 Accreditation is underpinned by national competency standards at AQF level 4 and will enable you to demonstrate that you are able to:

  • Level 4 - RTC4702A - Minimise risks in the use of chemicals
  • Level 4 - RTC4703A - Plan and implement a chemical use program

ChemCert Supervisors AQF 4 Accreditation is not required by regulatory authorities, however attainment of this qualification has the benefits of:

  • Helping managers to demonstrate their Duty of Care and Due Diligence in chemical management.
  • Assisting in the implementation of risk management.
  • Assisting in the implementation of best practice in chemical management.
  • Providing an extra step on vocational career pathways.

NOTE: Prerequisite for ChemCert Supervisors AQF 4 Accreditation is AQF 3 or standard ChemCert accreditation below:  

  • Level 1 - RTC1701A - Follow basic chemical safety rules
  • Level 2 - RTC2706A - Apply chemicals under supervision
  • Level 3 - RTC3705A - Transport, handle and store chemicals
  • Level 3 - RTC3704A - Prepare and apply chemical
