SmartAg Funded Training
Eligibility and Application
*SmartAg is an industry led training strategy managed by Queensland Farmers Federation with support from the Queensland Government
SmartAg Queensland is an industry-led initiative designed by farmers to support farmers access relevant training. Through SmartAg Queensland, farmers can access subsidised accredited, non-accredited and micro-credential training to support their agricultural enterprise to attract, train, and retain a skilled and diverse workforce.
SmartAg covers 50% of the course cost, while the student or employer pays the remaining 50%.
SmartAg is funding some courses for eligible participants including our:
AQF3 Chemical Accreditation (Face to Face)
- AHCCHM304 Transport and store chemicals
- AHCCHM307 Prepare and apply chemicals to control pest, weeds and diseases

Am I eligible?
To be eligible for SmartAg funding you must meet the below criteria:
- aged 15 years or older
- involved in plant-based agriculture
How to Apply
To book a course, students or companies should contact ChemCERT via email at enrol@chemcert.com.au. In the email, please mention that you would like to apply for SmartAg funding and provide the following information for approval:
- Full name
- Company Name
- Industry
- Date and location of the training you wish to book
Once the above details are submitted, it will be sent to Queensland Farmers Federation (QFF) to review and approve your eligibility.
