From the start of 2015, all Australian students undergoing nationally recognised training need to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI).
In short a USI is a reference number made up of numbers and letters linked to a personal online account, with access to training records and results completed by a student from 1 January 2015 onwards. This means that an individual’s nationally recognised training and qualifications gained anywhere in Australia, from different training organisations, will be kept all together in a secure online record.

Do you need one?

If you are enrolling in a ChemCert course, or waiting for you Chemcert accreditation, you need to apply for a USI and provide it to us. Only after receiving a valid USI number from our students can we issue statement of attainments and ChemCert cards.
If you don’t have a USI you will not receive your qualification until you have provided one.

How to get a USI

Creating a USI is free and simple. Follow this link to the government dedicated website , make sure to have all the documents needed, and follow the prompts.
