The ChemCERT Card

Proof of Competency

Our ChemCERT Card is awarded to students who successfully complete our AQF3 Chemical Accreditation. The card shows the key units of competency you have achieved:

  • AHCCHM304 (Transport and store chemicals)
  • AHCCHM307 (Prepare and apply chemicals to control pests, weeds, and diseases)

This card verifies your competence in these critical skills. The ChemCERT Card not only enhances your employability but also ensures that you adhere to industry standards for safe and effective chemical use.

As long as it’s still in date, your ChemCERT Card remains valid proof of your Chemical Accreditation to show when purchasing AgVet Chemicals.

Once you’ve successfully completed the AQF3 course, you will receive a Statement of Attainment, Certificate and your ChemCERT card. This usually takes 21 days from completion and payment of your course, but if you need your ChemCERT card urgently call our office on 1800 444 228 and we will try to assist you.

You can keep your ChemCERT Card in your wallet as handy proof of your competency in the work environment or in some states when purchasing chemicals.

It has your name, student ID and date of expiry.

If you have completed multiple courses at the same time and would like these to be on your card together, please email admin@chemcert.com.au to discuss your options.

If you require urgent evidence of competency in your ChemCERT accreditation, our team will make every effort to provide you with either:

  • a digital copy or scan of your Statement of Attainment, OR
  • a confirmation of competency which includes your name, student ID, and the date that the units of competency were achieved.

Please note this is subject to payment having been made in full, and all required information has been obtained by ChemCert from the student (USI number, AVETMISS data, all contact details). Just call us on 1800 444 228 or email admin@chemcert.com.au

You can renew your ChemCERT Card with either a one day refresher course or with our online course. The one day course is structured to keep you up to date with changes in legislation, industry updates and reinforces good handling practices.

Complete this Lost Card Form to replace your lost or damaged ChemCERT card. Please allow up to 10 working days to receive your replacement card. If we cannot find you in our database we may contact you for further information. If you have not done your course with ChemCERT, we will refund the replacement card charge.
