Funding the
next generation

ChemCERT is a not for profit organisation. We reinvest every cent into creating better courses and funding scholarships and grants for the next generation of those who will work our land. As a registered charity we are committed to supporting the future of agriculture and horticulture in Australia.

The University of Adelaide

Each year The University of Adelaide awards the ChemCERT Scholarship in Agricultural & Veterinary Science to a student from a rural or remote area. This scholarship is based on academic merit and financial needs.

Royal Agricultural Society Foundation

ChemCERT is currently funding two RASF Rural Scholarships designed to support a diverse range of tertiary agricultural study for rural NSW students.

Peter Westblade Scholarship

In 2021 ChemCERT will commence sponsoring this exciting scholarship designed to promote practical skills and hands on experience for young people pursuing a career in the sheep and wool industry.

SpinalCure Australia

In light of the high incidence of spinal injuries in the Agricultural sector, ChemCERT will be provide continuing support and funding opportunities for equipment that will be used in a ground-breaking Australian spinal neurostimulation trial. Already “implanted” neurostimulation has seen long-term paraplegics stand and even walk. This trial will see if a more affordable and less invasive spinal stimulation therapy with “stick-on” electrodes, combined with locomotive training can restore similar function and movement.
