The Control Plant Pests, Diseases and Disorders program is for students who have completed the AQF3. It has been developed for workers in agriculture, horticulture and land management. In this course you will learn the skills required to identify the effect to plants of plant pests, diseases and disorders and plan and coordinate control measures.

AHCCHM303A Prepare and Apply Chemicals and AHCCHM304A Transport, handle and Store Chemicals


AHCCHM303 Prepare and Apply Chemicals and AHCCHM304 Transport and Store Chemicals


AHCCHM304 Transport and Store Chemicals and AHCCHM307 Prepare and Apply Chemicals to Control Pest, Weeds and Diseases.

You will need to provide two case studies where you have assessed an infestation, implemented management measures and monitored the effectiveness. These will need to be verifiable by a workplace supervisor.

Language, Literacy and Numeracy Requirements
