Amelia Roche
Amelia has vast industry experience in RTO administration and reporting requirements. Her role specialises in participant and trainer engagement and meeting relevant AQSA requirements. Amelia has a Bachelor of Business (Human Resources/Management) from Griffith University.
Sam Luke
Samuel has a Master of Arts in Media and Communications from UNSW with a background in Visual Design. He develops and maintains courses in the eLearning portal and provides front-end IT support for all students and their trainers. Samuel is committed to ensuring our online course instructions are clear to understand and that support is available to answer any questions students may have.
Hugh Bygott
Hugh has over 35 years’ experience in the branch network and in senior roles in corporate merchandising at one of the leading national chemical sellers and has experience with using farm chemical on his property in the Adelaide Hills. Following Marketing and Customer Service roles at Smith & Georg, Hugh supports ChemCert students and trainers from his home office south of the Barossa Valley
Sarah Jane Durol
Sarah Jane is a new member of our Enrolment Centre and Administration Division. With a diverse background in building and construction sector, she brings experience in project administration, accounts, and customer service to the team. She believes in honing life experiences through personal improvement, and currently studies Interior Design. Sarah Jane is eager to learn more about the training industry and to grow with ChemCert.
Andrew Forest
Andrew Forrest has extensive experience in farming and chemical use as a result of his positions as a spray technician. He owns a mixed farming enterprise in Young NSW. Andrew has served on various State and Federal advisory boards and the board and committees of NSW Farmers Federation.
Richard Way
Richard is the current Chairman of ChemCert (SA) Incorporated and a director of ChemCert and on the ChemCert (SA) Board for over 10 years. Richard has held several senior positions in the South Australia Farmers Federation. Richard runs a consolidated grain and sheep enterprise.
Grant Millington
Over 35 years of successful business and brand creation in a host of industries both domestically and internationally. Strategic marketing and brand building communications specialist. 10 years in senior marketing positions with Johnson & Johnson, Simplot Australia, Campbell Arnotts. 20-year career with Mojo and the Publicis Groupe Worldwide, serving as joint managing partner of Mojo Sydney and National Board of Publicis Communication Australia. Founder and Managing Director of Osmosys Group specialising in customer driven, digitally led strategic marketing/business transformation
Brenden McMahon
Brenden has an extensive background in agribusiness, education and rural operations, and as CEO consults the Board with business strategy and special projects. Compliance and auditing are additional roles he provides to ChemCert. As a partner in Rathkeale Pastoral, he currently runs an Angus & Merino operation on 4500 acres in Northern NSW.
Sarah Maloney
Sarah has a strong background in finance and administration and is the contact at ChemCert for all accounts receivable and payable. Sarah also liaises with both trainers and students on a daily basis ensuring that all queries are answered and students documents are sent out in a timely manner.
Harris Karatzetzos
Harris has a Bdes Visual Communications (hon). He manages all digital projects including being the system architect of the Student Management System, Elearning portal and website. He develops, supports and maintains all IT including the design of elearning courses. He was awarded the prestigious Museums Australia Multimedia Design Award in 2009 working on educational software.
Emma Ryding
Emma has been working at ChemCert since mid-2013 and manages the day to day tasks with all the staff. She also keeps ChemCert on track with compliance and makes sure we meet all necessary regulatory requirements. Emma also has a Bachelor of Arts (Graphic design & Photography) from Charles Sturt University Wagga Wagga.
Jonathan Pearson
Joining Chemcert 10 years ago as course developer, Jonathan has had the privilege of providing chemical user training as far west as Christmas Island through to Norfolk Island in the east, in both instances sharing experiences with great people. Jonathan has an Ag science degree, managing a mixed farming enterprise plus time in industry with spray equipment OEM, Silvan Australia.
Minni Jacob
With more than 6 years of Customer service and office administration in Retail and RTO, Minni is passionate about providing exceptional service and support to clients.
Andrew Wright
Andrew has tertiary qualifications in Economics, Marketing and a diploma in Finance. Andrew started in the Agricultural Chemical industry in the 1980’s. He has lived in NSW and QLD and has been involved in summer and winter cropping and sheep and cattle production. He also worked in global product management & marketing roles in Switzerland and after returning to Australian agriculture has worked in ag consulting and his current training roles with ChemCert & Agsafe.
Andy Cassim
Andy is an experienced commercial beef/lamb producer and property owner (Braidwood) since 1983. He is also an experienced work place trainer and assessor for 24 years. Previously Andy was a contract chemical sprayer for 8.5 years, the Cattle Coordinator/Director of the Southern Tablelands Beef Cooperative, establishing best practice management in beef production/marketing.
Frank Dempsey
Frank is our turf and horticulture specialist and has over forty years of experience as a greenkeeper and a horticulturalist. He has held pivotal roles within the turf industry including being Vice President of the NSW Bowling Greenkeepers Association and a Life Member of the Sports Turf Association of NSW.
Graeme Harris
With a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Education), Graeme has spent his career teaching agriculture at a specialist Agricultural High School , operating and managing two farms at the school. He currently is both a Chemcert Trainer (since 1995) and assessor of hail damage claims for insurance companies. Although retired from school teaching he maintains a keen interest in education and enhancing career possibilities in food and fibre industries in Australia.
Leon Carter
Leon has a worked with ChemCERT since 2021 bringing experience from his upbringing on a vineyard in Sunraysia, a decade in genetics and animal health with thoroughbred studs across Australia, and his mixed farming operation where he and his family currently reside in Northeast Victoria. He has also spent the best part of the last decade delivering ag courses to school-based students and mature aged public alike. This range of industry experience helps Leon engage with a wide variety of clients across Victoria and southern NSW.
John Drenkhahn
John’s qualifications include an Advanced Diploma in Farm Management, a Bachelor of Teaching in Adult Education and Training and a degree in journalism. He spent 20 years farming growing wheat, oats, barley and pulses in conjunction with a merino sheep breeding enterprise. He has vast experience in the sheep and wool industry and the performance breeding of sheep and cattle. He has spent the last 20 years teaching Agriculture and Primary Industires in High Schools across NSW. John began working for ChemCERT 20 years ago and has just returned as an online trainer.
Paige Cross
Paige has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Agronomy); a Cert IV in Frontline Management and a Cert IV in Training and Assessment. Paige was one of the SafeWork SA Augusta Zadow Award winners in 2022. Based in Adelaide, South Australia, with her husband and three children, Paige also runs a broadacre and sheep farm in the Mid-North. She returned to her home state in 2019 after a 20-year career in the finance, government, and healthcare sectors across the Eastern states of Australia. With this first-hand experience through multiple industries, Paige is well placed to work with a diverse range of clients. Paige Cross is also the managing director of Cross Country Management, a consulting firm focused on business coaching, project management and training and facilitation in rural and regional areas of Australia.
Gurpreet Singh Randhawa
As a Sales Agronomist with one of Australia's leading agribusiness companies, I am deeply passionate about the agricultural industry. Growing up in an agricultural family, I have always been enthusiastic about farming and the science behind it. In addition to my sales role, I conduct ChemCert training, educating the agricultural community on safe chemical usage to prevent harm. My vision is to establish my own agricultural consultancy, leveraging my experience and knowledge. I am fervently committed to ensuring a safe food future for the world and am eager to contribute to this exciting journey toward sustainable agriculture.
Wes McRae
Wes has a background in the cotton, broadacre cropping and cattle industries. After graduating from University, he started his career in agriculture in 1989 with Ciba Geigy in Moree. He has held various Sales, Marketing, Packaging & Distribution network positions. He also has extensive banking and finance industry experience. He lives on and runs his family property on the Darling Downs in Queensland. Interestingly he has been a passionate apiarist / beekeeper for over 40 years.
Scott Mckinnon
Scott has over 25 years of sales & marketing experience in the agribusiness and agricultural chemical industry with an applied technology focus. During that time he has worked extensively in Australia, Asia Pacific and globally based in Switzerland. For the last 10 years he has focused on the agtech sector, holding several senior management roles for local and international scale-ups and commercial businesses. With his family he runs a small commercial agricultural property and has a sound understanding of the practical use of agricultural chemical on a day to day basis.
Monique Meredith
Monique has 25 years' experience in Education, Horticulture, Ecology and Land Management including consultancy, project, research, management and training roles with Universities, Science Research Institutes, Education Departments, Aboriginal Corporations and Land Conservancies. Roles have included using chemicals for intergrated pest and weed control, agricultural crop and livestock management, horticultural production, vegetation and wildlife restoration, WHS compliance, and cultural land management practices. Recent work has involved waterway, pest and weed management fieldwork using RTK GNSS, ERT, GPR, UAV (drone), and ArcGIS technologies, with a focus on the EPBC Act, SER Standards, Ramsar Wetlands Convention, SOE Report, Environmental and Cultural Heritage Acts for best-practice audits and impact reports.
Bill Greenslade
Bill has tertiary qualifications in Agriculture, Education and Finance, together with many vocational accreditations. Bill was involved with operational farming on the family farm at Maitland SA in the 1980’s and early 1990s. He then pursued a career agribusiness and has worked in several areas of the agribusiness supply chain. In these roles Bill had wide ranging exposure to industry compliance and training which has led to his progression to a formal training role.
Ian Johnson
Ian is a highly skilled versatile ChemCert trainer, Freshcare, LPA Food Safety Auditor, Agsafe Trainer, and Agsafe Premises Chemical Storage & Transport Auditor which includes WHS concepts. He has spent 41 years in advisory roles educating individuals on safe and effective use of Agvet chemicals. Ian has helped over 3600 industry personnel attain ChemCert accreditation. Ian Porch
Ian holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Agriculture) and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. He has worked within the agricultural industry for over 30 years. Ian currently produces grain and livestock, whilst also working as an agronomist across Central NSW.
Linda Green
Linda grew up on an apple orchard and sheep farm in the Adelaide Hills. She has broad experience in the farm industry having worked on many projects in this field. At ChemCert Linda brings her expertise to assist students with their chemical safety courses online.
Claire Hamilton
Claire has been working in education since 2014. Transitioning to the agricultural industry in 2021, she works as a HACCP auditor, consultant and trainer. Claire works closely with growers in the fresh produce sector, guiding them through compliance requirements for standards like Freshcare Food Safety & Quality, HARPS and HACCP. She is one of ChemCERT’s online trainers and assessors.
Mark Pedlar
Mark’s 50 years in research and development of agricultural chemicals on both sides of the globe, culminating in national roles in Australia give him an excellent comprehension of the subject. He combines this with over two decades in training both face to face and online.
Phil Morrow
Over 45 years experience in the field research, development, regulation and marketing of agrichemicals globally, Phil draws on a great depth of knowledge of pesticide usage, handling and application.
Phil Tucker
Phil is a WHS consultant and has over 40 years of experience in the manufacture and distribution of pesticides. He has delivered the ChemCert Course to a diverse range of students including council staff, contractors and community groups, such as CDEP and Landcare.
Robert Kakoschke
Rob holds a major in Chemistry and Mathematics from the University of Adelaide and has worked as a Chemical Trainer for over 14 years. Throughout his career Rob has gained extensive knowledge and experience in the Agricultural sector, allowing him to assist small businesses and any producers of food for public consumption, to achieve levels of assured quality, and hence, broaden their market opportunities.
Robert Wythes
Robert specialises in seed, wool and livestock production. He is heavily involved within the agricultural industry being a member of the NSW Farmers, Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC), Kondinin Group and the Australian Pulse Co-operative.
Rod Cameron
Rod Cameron has been in agricultural training sector for many years. He is also a property owner with experience running feeder cattle, Dorper sheep, growing crops for grain and fodder and growing improved pasture.
Sharon Robinson
Sharon is ChemCert’s newest trainer in Queensland. She will be able to bring her experience of Freshcare Food Safety & Quality standards, Freshcare Environmental certification and compliance for Workplace Health and Safety knowledge into ChemCert courses.
Stewart McIntosh
Stewart has worked in Agricultural industry for over 20 years across a wide range of roles including sales, operations management, a field officer, authorised officer and in consultancy within the Agricultural industry. During his time in the industry he has conducted chemical trials on a selection of proclaimed weeds, conducted onsite training and conducted 'Strike' trials for pre-commercial release of products.
Vern Allen
Vern is an expert in animal health due to his many years as Sales Manager at Fort Dodge which sells veterinary medicines. He uses his knowledge to explain the applications, safety and benefits of animal health products to cattle and sheep farmers across Australia.
